Its Been Awhile

Since I've updated this blog. I'm sure my loyal readers are just crying in their oatmeal over my truancy. Well, I'm here today to report some fun! Not really, I'm going to keep this short as I am not feeling well at all.

Marc and I ran 6 miles today. It wasn't horrible, but I'm experiencing some dehydration problems since I sweat out about half my body weight! Hopefully this will clear up. It used to happen at 3 miles and now it appears to happen after 6, so if I can get it up to after 14 then we're good!!

Have a good one!

That's wonderful about the run! (Not so about the dehydration, though; I've always had a problem keeping well-hydrated during runs, as well). I'm so impressed--you've been running farther and farther! How's the wedding stuff coming along??

The wedding stuff is great! Very very stressing. As for the running, I'm definitely better than I used to be, but I'm still not very good. Marc keeps reminding me that the majority of the population can't run 2 miles without stopping, so that's something in itself. We're thinking that we'll do this half marathon, worry about the wedding some more, do the Marine Corps Marathon in October, and wave bye bye to our horribly long distance running careers. Maybe just 3-5 miles during the week and a 10k on the weekends. i just don't think my body is cut out for this~

I know what you mean about worrying sometimes whether or not your body is cut out for it; I definitely don't think I was born to be a runner, but I still like doing it. That being said, I've been horrible these past few weeks, but am getting together with a friend to run this weekend, so hope to start getting in shape to gear up for the Marine Corps marathon in October! (Although Chicago could be fun...)
