10 Days of Commercials

I have been watching tv for 10 days straight and with that I've watched a lot of commercials. Here are some quick observations...

  • My new favorite commerical is a commercial I originally thought was stupid. It's the Campbell's soup commercial where a guy is sitting at his desk enjoying his soup, exclaiming things like "mmm" "yummy" etc. Another guy is walking around trying to fill out a request for signage for the cubicles and asks the man his name. The guy ignores him as he is engrossed in the soup. Fast forward to the day the name tags are ordered and the guy walks up to his desk and the name on the cubicle is Num Yummy. He says "Who's Num Yummy?" and I laugh my ass off every time. It must be the drugs, but that is now completely hilarious to me. I tried to find a video online but couldn't, so I hope you've seen it so my description makes some sense.
  • Free Credit Report Dot Com: F to the R to the E to the E to the C to the R to the EDIT Report to the dot to the Com, come on everybody grab your blank and sing along. I used to hate these commercials but now I find them charming and especially enjoy the one where they are at the Renn Faire, because we all know how I feel about that.
  • I'm tired, so I'm keeping this short. The last commercial is one of the genious "ad wizard" commercials from stupid Comcast. This guy says how much he loves advertising with Comcast because it helps him get to all this customers. He says "My business helps people get their life organized with closet systems, storage units and frameless shower doors" I'm not sure how that helps people out, but that is ridiculous.

There are probably a ton more but I can't think of them. I'm trying to come up with better posts but I still feel icky and don't like sitting upright all that much to type.
